CHANDIGARH: The Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthiya Parishad (ABVP) on Monday started a new campaign ‘Donate your idea for a better PU‘. The party workers took a suggestion box to different departments including the student centre seeking the students‘ demands from party leaders.
“The idea of the campaign is to take ideas and suggestions from the students through a feedback form. In the form they can jot down their problems and the changes wish to see on the campus. The party will add the shortlisted suggestions and problems to their manifesto,” said Harmanjot Singh Gill, member, central working committee, ABVP.

Campus president Kuldeep Pangal said the student welfare was their main motive so they came up with this idea to give voice to the students.

“This drive will move towards hostels in the evening and will go on for the next two days. Students have appreciated our efforts and showed great participation as the whole suggestion box is filled with new and great ideas,” said Akash Vishwa, the campus general secretary of ABVP.

ABVP has also released its report card of the previous years in which the party claims that they sat for a 37-day against fee hike .
