A man stabbed two women to death in a knife attack in Belgium, authorities said.
The attacker’s ex-partner was one of the two victims of the attack in Plombieres, according to Belgian newspaper Le Soir.
It happened in a restaurant in the town at about 5pm on Wednesday.
Thierry Wimmer, the mayor of Plombieres, ruled out terrorism as a possible motive for the attack and described it as a domestic incident.
He added that there were several victims after the man reportedly stabbed the owner of the restaurant and a family member.
The attacker died after killing the two women, La Libre Belgique reported.
A witness told RTL Info: ‘A lady was stabbed in a restaurant.’
It was not immediately clear how the man died.
