Rangers can take one step closer to the Europa League group stages on Thursday night as they take on Russia side Ufa in the first leg of the play-offs at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard’s team impressively saw off Maribor in the last round of qualifying and are coming off a League Cup win over Kilmarnock at the weekend.

Ufa are in less impressive form, scraping past Luxermbourg’s Progres Niederkorn to reach this stage and losing their last two league games.
